KATY PERRY's marriage to British funnyman RUSSELL BRAND is already paying great dividends - she can now dual for dual citizenship and avoid the long queues in immigration at London airports.
The I Kissed a Girl hitmaker wed Brand in India last month (Oct10), and insists easy entry to the U.K. was not a factor in her decision to get married - but it helps.
She hopes the citizenship will make her frequent transAtlantic trips less stressful when she touches down in London.
Perry tells Britain's Cosmopolitan magazine, "A gay couple I know are going to get married for British citizenship and I'm like, 'Oh!'. But of course I want to get dual citizenship. Those lines at Heathrow (airport) are disgusting. So, I mean, that would be a perk, right?"

Lil Wayne Handed 360 Hours Of Community Service For Drug Raid

Rapper LIL WAYNE has been sentenced to serve 360 hours of community service in his adopted Miami, Florida as punishment for a drug possession charge from 2008.
The hitmaker flew to Yuma, Arizona on Friday (05Nov10) for sentencing, just a day after his release from New York's Rikers Island prison, where he served eight months for illegal weapons possession.
The hearing stems from an arrest in the town two years ago when border patrol officers pulled over his tourbus and reportedly found cocaine, ecstasy and a handgun on board.
Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to one count of felony possession of a dangerous drug; the other drug charges and the gun charge were all thrown out.
As well as the community service, Wayne was also placed on probation for three years.
Following the sentencing, Lil Wayne jetted off to Miami for a welcome home party at exclusive strip club King of Diamonds.
According to TMZ.com, the rap star plans to celebrate his release from prison with proteges Drake and Nicki Minaj and record label boss Baby Williams.
But there's one catch - the probation documents Wayne signed on Friday clearly state that he "may not consume or drink any substance containing alcohol" as long as he's on probation. That means he'll be sober at his big party.

JUSTIN BREIBER COMMENTS ON FILM

Justin Bieber hopes his upcoming movie will "inspire" people to realise "the sky's the limit".
The 16-year-old singer - who releases his first movie 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' worldwide next year - thinks the film will help young people to realise there are no limits in life and they can achieve whatever they want.
He told MTV News: "I want to let people know there's a lot of people that are discouraging in life and that will tell you you can't do something, but you just got to remember that the sky's the limit.
"You're able to do whatever you set your mind to as long as you remember to keep God first and stay grounded. So I think the movie really explains that, and it's really inspiring."
The film's director Jon Chu has previously revealed 'Never Say Never' - which features a cameo by Miley Cyrus - will feature an exchange between Justin's life and his music.
He said: "It's really an interesting sort of pass between his real life to his music, so I think in the trailer, we break it down every step of the way in his life. Everyone said, 'It's not possible,' "
"Every step, everyone's always said, 'No, no, no, no.' And he's always said, 'Yes, yes, yes.' And that sort of 'never say never' idea is conveyed in the trailer."

AKON: I USED TO POSE AS A PRINCE TO ATTRACT GIRLS

Akon used to pretend he was an African prince to get girls.The 'Lonely' singer split his time between Senegal and the US while growing up and admits he would play on his African roots as a teenager, by claiming to be royalty so as to impress girls.Of his traditional African styling, Akon said: "When I was 17, I thought I was the flyest thing on the planet. Of course, I still had my African roots so I would wear dashikis that kinda matched my jeans.
"I think I was a young hustler at that time. I told everybody, 'I'm a prince!'
"That was my thing in high school. People would say, 'Yeah, he a prince; you know he a prince, right?' Like 'Yeah, I'm a prince, see?' That was fun!"
His brother Omar added: "People just didn't know any better so they believed that we were princes from Africa."
Akon said he got the idea from the classic Eddie Murphy movie 'Coming to America', a comedy about a misplaced African prince trying to make his way in the US.
He added to MTV: "I would play off that, because when 'Coming to America' came out years ago, it felt like that was the thing to do."

Jessica Simpson's new boyfriend is "easygoing".
The 'Dukes of Hazard' actress' sister Ashlee revealed she and husband Pete Wentz sometimes go on double dates with Jessica and her new man, NFL football player Eric Johnson, and she enjoys his gentle nature.
She told E!: "He's just really easygoing, they're a fantastic couple. We're definitely, like, all a big family, so we double date all the time."
Ashlee has also lifted the lid on her and Pete's Halloween weekend with their 23-month old son Bronx, and her decision to crop her hair to short and blonde.
Ashlee added: "For me it's a fun change with my hair, I had fun, just a new do, chop it all off, be blond again, good times!
"We had the best Halloween together, Bronx wore several different costumes, but I can't tell you what."
Although she enjoyed Halloween, Ashlee admits her favourite holiday is just around the corner, and she is already getting in the festive mood now.
She said: "I'm obsessed with holidays, I'm, like, ready for Christmas music now, I just get that way, I can't help it."
The 'Outta My Head (Ay Ya Ya)' singer is also working on a fourth studio album, but she won't release anything for a while, as she is concentrating on her family life.
She added: "I am working on it, but I'm taking my time, my little boy is my priority, I'm having a blast, but sometime late next year."

Rick Ross - Ross Wins Trademark Battle Against Drugs Kingpin

A multi-million dollar trademark infringement lawsuit between rapper RICK ROSS and former crime king RICKY ROSS was dismissed on Monday (01Nov10).
The rapper, real name William Leonard Roberts II, has been accused of adopting his stage name from the ex-cocaine trafficker, who became infamous for running a drug empire in Los Angeles in the 1980s.
Ricky Ross lost the first stage of his legal battle in July (10) after a judge threw out an injunction against the release of the rapper's album Teflon Don.
And on Monday, the presiding judge at California's U.S. District Court dismissed the entire lawsuit on the grounds that Ross' illegal activity made it impossible to determine if he had "valid trademark for his name".
According to AllHipHop.com, the judge ruled, "In support of his trademark claims, Plaintiff alleges that his name was well known in the drug trade and by law enforcement segments of the urban crime, rap and black community because he did business as Rick Ross, until he was arrested, prosecuted and incarcerated in federal prison.
"Because this illegal activity cannot be used to establish secondary meaning, such allegations do not provide support for Plaintiff having a valid trademark for his name."

Rihanna Confirms Katy Perry Duet And Says Pair Could Tour

RIHANNA, the 22-year-old American singer, has confirmed that she has been working with KATY PERRY on new material, and suggested that the pair could tour together, reports MTV News. The singer controversially missed Perry's wedding to British comedian RUSSELL BRAND last month, despite having a hand in organising the ceremony.
However, after recent speculation surrounding a possible duet between the two, RIHANNA confirmed, "We're actually working on some music together - hell yeah". In reply to the questioning about the possibility of a joint tour, the singer said, "I would love to tour with Katy. She's a rock star. And when I see her live, she just brings such a fun vibe, like a colourful rock star". The 'Umbrella' star went on to compliment Perry's live shows, saying, "She has all these props. She has candy and fruit and a blown-up ChapStick onstage, but then she's rocking out with a guitar and banging her head and swinging onstage and crowd-surfing".
RIHANNA will first release her new album 'Loud' on 10th November 2010, and the record features collaborations with NICKI MINAJ and EMINEM. Details of the KATY PERRY duet are not yet known.

Miley Cyrus Lands Pi Movie Role

MILEY CYRUS will go undercover for a new movie role - she's set to play a private investigator in an upcoming action comedy.
The singer/actress made her name on Disney TV show Hannah Montana, and has since starred in a number of films, including The Last Song and a cameo in Sex and the City 2.
Now she's preparing to film her next big screen venture - an action comedy called So Undercover, according to GossipCop.com.
Cyrus will reportedly play a private investigator hired by the FBI to go undercover at a college sorority in the Tom Vaughan-directed movie.

LIL' WAYNE RELEASED FROM PRISON!

Rapper LIL WAYNE has been released from jail after serving eight months of a one-year sentence.
The hip-hop superstar has been locked up in New York's Rikers Island prison following his conviction on weapon possession charges stemming from 2007.
Officers at the prison stated the star's release date had been pushed back from Thursday (04Nov10) to Friday (05Nov10) because of him owing one day of "good time" due to breaking prison rules during his stint behind bars.
However, officials decided to free the rapper on Thursday morning as planned, TMZ.com has reported.

Cash Money Rap Moguls Turn To Book Publishing

Hip-hop moguls RONALD and BRYAN 'BIRDMAN' WILLIAMS are adding book publisher to their resumes - the Cash Money Records executives are launching their own imprint.
The Williams brothers, who count rapper Lil Wayne among their stable of artists, have signed a deal with the Atria Books imprint of Simon & Schuster to launch Cash Money Content.
The pair will sell books at concerts and stage red-carpet launch parties for authors as part of the agreement - but the tomes won't necessarily be music-related.
Cash Money Content will debut in February (11) with Raw Law: An Urban Guide to Criminal Justice, written by lawyer Muhammad Ibn Bashir, while Wahida Clark's original novel Justify My Thug will hit shelves in March (11).
The brothers' attorney and business manager Vernon Brown tells the Wall Street Journal, "We intend to publish all kinds of authors. Our ultimate goal is a good catalogue of authors and books in all topics, including education, politics, food, and lifestyle, and to touch all demographics."

MARIAH CAREY celebrated Christmas throughout the summer (10), making sure the studios where she recorded her new festive album were decked with trees and garlands.

Pam Anderson Blasted For Handing Playboy Pay To Charity

PAMELA ANDERSON has been blasted by an Islamic rights group for donating her $25,000 (£16,670) Playboy modeling fee to charity - because the money was obtained through "immoral acts".
The former Baywatch star posed nude for the January, 2011 issue of the men's magazine and handed the cheque she received for the spread to Waves 4 Water, a charity that distributes filters to people who don't have access to clean drinking water, in countries including Indonesia and Haiti.
But officials from the Islamic Defenders Front are fuming about the donation, claiming it is "against the law of God" to hand the modelingmoney to charity.
Habib Umar Salim, the head of FPI's advisory council, tells Indonesia's Metro TV, "If she wants to be photographed naked, then she is challenging a bigger disaster to happen in Indonesia. It's haram (forbidden)."

Britney Spears New Album Out Early 2011 Says Producer

BRITNEY SPEARS will release her seventh studio in 'early 2011', according to one of her producers. Although her record company have not yet commented on the speculation, DR LUKE, who is working on the record, told The Hollywood Reporter that fans should expect the album to hit shelves early next year.
DR LUKE contributed several tracks to the 28-year-old's last album 'Circus', and speaking about the new album he said, "She's such an icon, I don't want to let anyone down. I'm excited to be co-executive producing with Max Martin, the person who kind of invented Britney, and to make good music", before adding, "She's such an amazing vehicle to getting that music out to a lot of people in every country" .
Spears has to date sold over 100 million records, and her last album sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide, earning the singer a GRAMMY AWARD nomination for the single 'Womanizer'. The hit US show 'Glee' recently dedicated an entire episode to Spears, in which the pop-star made a cameo appearance.

TAYLOR SWIFT SELLS OVER ONE MILLION IN A WEEK.

Country music sweetheart TAYLOR SWIFT has rocketed to the top of the U.S. album charts with over one million sales in a week.
Her new album Speak Now has become the first since Lil Wayne's 2008 release Tha Carter III to score a million sales in a week, according to chart compilers at Nielsen SoundScan's figures.
But the album fell 100,000 copies short of matching 50 Cent's The Massacre, which notched up 1,141,000 first-week sales in 2005.
Only 16 albums have debuted over one million sales since the latest chart-compiling era began in 1991, and only one other country artist - Garth Brooks - has achieved the feat.
According to Billboard.com, Speak Now accounted for 18 per cent of all albums sold in America last week and it has already become the eighth best-selling album of 2010.
Swift took time out to thank her fans for rushing out to buy her new album in a post on her Twitter.com blog. She wrote, "I... Can't... Believe... This... You guys have absolutely lit up my world. Thank you."

Justin Breiber and Katy Perry show condolences for Lily Allen.

Stars including JUSTIN BIEBER and KATY PERRY have passed their condolences to "devastated" LILY ALLEN after she lost her baby at the weekend (30-31Oct10).
The Smile hitmaker, who was six months pregnant by her boyfriend Sam Cooper, is said to be "inconsolable" after suffering a miscarriage.
Her spokesman confirmed on Monday (01Nov10) that she had lost her baby and appealed for privacy for the couple - and several stars including Bieber, Perry, former Spice Girl Emma Bunton and Australian singer Dannii Minogue have since taken to Twitter.com to send Allen their best wishes.
Bieber writes, "Just heard the news. My prayers go out to Lily Allen and her family."
I Kissed a Girl hitmaker Perry interrupted her honeymoon in the Maldives with new husband Russell Brand to post the message: "Praying for Lily."
Bunton writes, "Thinking of Lily Allen and her partner at this very sad time. Sending them lots of love", while Minogue adds, "Love and prayers for Lily Allen."
Allen, who had previously suffered a miscarriage in 2008 when she was pregnant by her then boyfriend, Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, is said to be heartbroken over her loss.

Charlie Sheen file's for divorce of 3rd wife

CHARLIE SHEEN, the American actor and star of 'Two and a Half Men', has ended his controversial week by filing for divorce from his third wife BROOKE MUELLER. The actor caused a disturbance at the New York Plaza Hotel last week and was taken away for a psychiatric evaluation. It was alleged that the porn-star CHRISTINA WALSH was found in his room.
The actor filed papers to divorce from Mueller in Los Angeles, citing 'irreconcilable differences' for the split, according to BBC News. It has been reported that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement, however, a child custody battle looks set to begin. Sheen is reportedly happy to take joint custody of the couple's twin songs, however, his wife wants sole custody. The legal papers, submitted by both parties, say that Sheen and Mueller separated after an argument in Aspen Colorado on Christmas Day 2009.
Earlier in the year, Sheen was sentenced to 30 days at a rehabilitation centre after he pleaded guilty to assaulting Mueller. The actor was previously married to the Hollywood actress DENISE RICHARDS, who was in New York with him before last week's incident.

Daniel Radcliffe cries as last Harry Porter movie is wrapped

Daniel Radcliffe admits he was "in bits" and in tears when the last Harry Potter movie wrapped.
The actor - who has played the boy wizard in every film in the series since he was just 11 - finished shooting the final scenes for 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II' in June and was an emotional wreck when he was saying his goodbyes to his cast mates and the crew.
He said: "We were all in bits. I've never seen Rupert Grint cry in my life but it was really emotional. When I saw him cry, it made me cry more. It's come to stand for my childhood, which I've said goodbye to. That innocent small boy has gone."
Although he and his two main co-stars Rupert Grint and Emma Watson have grown up together, Daniel doesn't believe the trio have changed that much as people.
The 21-year-old star added to Britain's OK! magazine: "Rupert has obviously got a much bigger car collection than when we started! Obviously, Rupert and myself have both changed through the series, because at the beginning, Rupert was really, really chatty, you couldn't shut him up. He's got quieter as the series has gone on, and while he's got quieter I've got louder!
"Physically, me and Rupert look totally different, whereas Emma, I think, kind of almost looks exactly the same as when she started, in terms of her face. Other than that it's kind of hard to say how we've changed, other than just the fact we've grown up."

Nicki Minaj and Eminem release xclusive halloween song

NICKI MINAJ and the American rapper EMINEM released a track entitled 'Roman's Revenge' on iTunes yesterday (October 31st 2010). The song sees Minaj adopt her alter ego ROMAN ZOLANKSI as she goes head-to-head withEMINEM's SLIM SHADY character in a rap battle.
Minaj spoke about 'Roman's Revenge' on the MTV's 'RapFix Live' show, saying, "We went out on a whim and put it in the air like, 'It'd be great if he would collaborate with us. I remember I kept talking about it, and I thought, 'It can't hurt.' I sent him one record, and he didn't love it. He didn't say, 'I don't love it'; he just said, 'Can you send me something that's a little more me?", adding, "I sent him an e-mail and thanked him for that, just having enough respect. Sometimes people don't respond".
The track itself opens with strings, followed by a heavy drum and bass line. Minaj begins rapping, "I am not Jasmine, I am Aladdin/ So far ahead, these bums is laggin", beforeEminem bring his own unsettling 'Shady' persona to proceedings. Minaj's debut album , 'Pink Friday' is set for release on November 22nd 2010, and the track-listing was recently leaked. Kanye West says MTv Europe Music Awards were rigged!

Kanye West has alleged that the recent MTV Europe Music awards (EMAs) were rigged.

The Chicago rap star took the Ultimate Urban prize at the Liverpool ceremony on November 6th but believes he only won as he was able to attend the show.

"I won nothing last year and I'd brought out Stronger. Then this year, just because I was there, I won best urban act," he told the Sun newspaper.

"This was Lil Wayne's year," he said of the chart-topping hip-hop star.

He also questioned the awarding of other trophies, such as the act of 2008 gong won by Britney Spears.

"Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious?

"I mean f*****g Jared Leto?" West said of the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman.

"He's my boy but he shouldn't have won over some of those other artists.

West was speaking at the album launch of his new effort 808s and Heartbreak, which he previewed to journalists at London's O2 Arena on Monday.

With significantly less rapping than his previous three albums and a heavy use of the Autotune function on his vocals, 808s and Heartbreaks has been viewed as a brave change of style for the award-winning musician.

However, he told the assembled press that in his eyes, music is "like decorating my home".

"I wouldn't put down anything I don't love," he explained.

808s and Heartbreak is released on November 24th.

Kim Kardashian is thrilled to have reached her "flirty" 30s.
The sexy star hit the landmark age today (21.10.10) and rather than be worried about entering the new decade of her life she is very excited.
Accompanied by a picture of her with her friends, she wrote on her twitter page: "UH OH The big 3-0!!!! Why does everyone call it The Dirty 30? Its The Flirty 30 to me! LOL (sic)"
Kim has also been bowled over by all the happy birthday messages she has received from her followers on the micro-blogging site.
She added in another tweet: "I woke up to the sweetest bday messages! Seeing all of your tweets will make me smile all day! I love u guys!!!! (sic)"
Kim was celebrating in New York with friends when the clock struck midnight and she stopped being 29.
Before the actual date, the beautiful socialite had three parties to celebrate the milestone age taking place in Las Vegas, New York and Toronto respectively.
In Las Vegas she partied at exclusive nightspot Tao on October 15 and was presented with a cake, and she received another baked treat while enjoying a birthday meal at a New York restaurant on October 18.
While at Sherway Gardens in Toronto, Canada, she was surprised with a pink and black three-tiered cake adorned with a picture of her on it.

Jared Leto has walked through New York dressed as a woman.
The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman decided to don a drag outfit and take a stroll through the city, and was amazed when no one seemed to care.
He said: "I put on fishnets and a black wig, old-school French. I picked it myself. And I had a Russian accent. I was walking down Madison Avenue in New York thinking, 'Wow, I bet people are going to think, "Who is that chick?"' No one thought that though."
Jared, 38, insists he wouldn't repeat his transvestite experiment because he looks too masculine to pass as a woman.
He added in an interview with the British edition of Elle magazine: "I tried to dress as a woman once. I thought I'd make a really good woman, but the jaw is too big and even my little muscles, as soon as you put on a pink tube top, you just look too manly."

TAYLOR SWIFT has become the latest star to smell success - the country singer is to launch her own fragrance.
The Love Story hitmaker is teaming up with Elizabeth Arden to create a new scent.
She says, "I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory... (and) lately I’ve been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I’m really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance."
The unnamed scent will hit perfume counters across America and beyond this time next year (11).

Rihanna will "never ever forgive" herself for missing Katy Perry's wedding.
The 'Only Girl in the World' singer is admits she is wracked with guilt for missing her close pal's nuptials to Russell Brand in India last month due to work commitments.
She told KIIS-FM DJ Ryan Seacrest: "I will never ever forgive myself for that, it was a crazy time, it was a crazy week, I'm switching management. There was no phone service in India and very little-to-no internet service, so it would have been a little irresponsible of me. I'm sad that I missed it."
Although she didn't attend the wedding, Rihanna recently revealed she got the newlyweds an amazing present, saying: "I got her a really, really cool gift. But I'll let her tell you about that!"
Sources had claimed Katy and Russell had reserved Rihanna a room at the Aman-i-Khas resort in Rajasthan, India, in the hope she would make it.
One said: "It was always sort of up in the air that she would go anyway, and Katy knew that. They saved her a room just in case, but they always knew it would be nearly impossible for her to make it as she's still finishing the album and it's out in a few weeks. Rih was in the studio all weekend."

Lil' Wayne 'touched' by Diddy's Jail visit

Rapper LIL WAYNE has heaped praise on SEAN COMBS for cutting through prison red tape to visit him at Rikers Island in New York.
The incarcerated star will be released on Thursday (04Nov10) after serving time for weapons possession and he's thrilled that so many of his famous friends visited him during his stay at the notorious jail.
In a letter to urban magazine The Juice, Wayne writes, "All artists and friends were very supportive. Thank God I've gotten two visits a week since the day I walked in.
"I'd have to say the visit from Diddy was most surprising because there's a lot that you're required to go through and to think he did just to see me is more than cool. But again, everybody has been more than supportive. I never felt alone."

Nelly to launch international radio show

Rapper NELLY is set to launch his own international radio show in November (10).
The Grammy winner hit radio airwaves in his native St. Louis, Missouri in August (10), when he filled in for Hot 104.1 host Staci Static, while she was on maternity leave, and his stint on the show proved so popular he has signed a deal with Global Radio's Choice in London to host a weekly Saturday afternoon show beginning 6 November (10).
According to a statement issued by Global Radio's Choice, the hip-hop star will play the "biggest and best urban music" in addition to a selection of tracks from his upcoming album, 5.0.
Programme director of Choice, Robert D'Ovidio says, "We're thrilled to welcome Nelly to the station. This is the latest in a series of exclusive takeovers on Choice as we continue to provide our audience with innovative and fresh programming alongside the urban songs they love."

WHY SADE TURNED DOWN JAY-Z COLLABO

During an interview with the Los Angeles Times,Sade explained why she declined to work with rap’s biggest superstar, Jay-Z. The reclusive singer stated that she’s “too scared” to work with other artistes.The legendary singer revealed, “It’s like The Wizard of Oz. They’ll find out there’s nothing there. As for collaborations, I’m collaborating with the band and do what we do.
